I’m 5’5” and 180lbs and usually wear a L or XL in dresses. I went with the XL and glad that I did. I’m big busted with no hips, which means that a lot of dresses are unflattering on me. However, due to the empire waist on this dress there is a slight illusion of hips which is appreciated! The pattern and colours matched what I expected from the photos. The dress was comfy and long enough that I didn’t worry about wearing tights underneath. I put it through both the washer and dryer with no problems.
